We would like to advise our customers that due to the ongoing high-water levels and fast flow; an additional extension is required to this stoppage. The team were able to get our floating plant to the marina yesterday and collect the new gates which are now on site. The team have also had some challenges getting the stop planks into position today due to the debris in the lock. The work is now on track to be completed by 03/03/2023. We apologise for the inconvenience this extension will cause.

We would like to advise our customers that that an additional week is required for this stoppage. This is due to high water levels and flow rates from the river. The team are currently unable to move the new lock gates to site. We have been monitoring the water levels and the weather forecast over the past few days and we are hopeful that by Monday 6th February, the levels and flow will have dropped enough for our team to get access to the stoppage site. We will undertake longer working days and weekend working where possible to complete these works.
The stoppage is now due to end on 24th February, we apologise for the inconvenience.
