The rams have been repaired and re-installed today at Gunthorpe Lock.

However, the sluice on Gate 4, is still out of action and so boaters are asked to proceed with care.

Work for this sluice is being planned in and as soon as we have more details, we will update the website.

The works at Gunthorpe were completed yesterday.

The two upstream rams which are leaking, have now been removed and sent away for repair leaving the lock operating on the two nearside sluices.

Please note that whilst on the two sluices the lock will be slower at filling and emptying.

We do not currently have a time scale for when the rams will be repaired and re-fitted, but as soon as we have more information, we will update the website.

Please proceed with care.
