Please see below - Opening times for the Gloucester & Sharpness Canal
From 1st November 2022 to the 31st March 2023
Open Thursday to Monday between 08:00 & 16:00
Closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday
We will publish full 2023 open times in January.
Please note –
*During school term times Llanthony Bridge and Fretherne Bridge, two of our busy road bridges are closed to boat traffic from 08:20 to 09:00 Monday to Friday, in accordance with agreed protocols with Gloucestershire County Council

From January 2022 to the 28th March
Open Thursday to Monday between 08:00 & 16:00
Closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday
From 29th March to the 15th May
Open seven days a week between 08:00 & 18:00
From 16th May to the 25th September
Open seven days a week between 08:00 & 19:00
From the 26th September to the 16th October
Open seven days a week between 08:00 & 18:00
From the 17th October until the 31st Oct
Open seven days a week, between 08:00 & 16:00
