The wheelie bin has now been cleared from the navigation.
unfortunately, the wheelie bin has moved slightly and we were unable to remove it.
We will be re-attempting on Monday, when the water levels have dropped slightly and we will hopefully be able to get a better angle to remove it.
In the meantime, please continue to proceed with care when travelling along this section.
There is a large wheelie bin in the canal, which is partially sunk. It is located near Caste Lock, just across from Fellows Morton & Clayton Pub.
Boaters are asked to proceed with care when travelling along this section.
Our local team and volunteers will be attempting to remove it tomorrow and we will update the website accordingly.
