Please be advised that Third Party Contractors will be onsite at Bridge 11, Manchester and Buxton Road on the Macclesfield Canal.
The Third Party Contractors working for the Highway Authority will be carrying out repairs and repointing of the A6 highway bridge with access via a temporary pontoon.
Although the navigation and towpath will remain open, we politely ask customers to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop if necessary to allow the pontoon to be moved out of the way for safe passage.
