Description
We are installing stop planks to the head of Lock 1E to investigate our ongoing problem with low water during the summer. This could be one of a range of measures we will be taking in the winter to try to improve water resources for the coming season. We already had a flow test done on the pound to see if there was any leakage from the bed of the channel, this will show if the leak is going through the lock and help us find solutions to improve our customer experience. We will update on our findings after we are done.
