Barrowford Reservoir

Please be advised that our contractors will be onsite at Barrowford Reservoir near to the Leeds and Liverpool Canal for approximately 48 weeks to carry out stabilising works to the embankment.  

The contractors will have a site compound initially in the small car park at the top of the reservoir and subsequently in the main compound off Colne Road, east of the reservoir.  

For the safety of our customers the crest path around the embankment and the small car park at the north end of the reservoir will be closed to the public during these works. 

The towpath between Colne Road and the Top lock will remain open to users and will be separated to site traffic by a barrier. 

We politely ask customers to approach the area with caution and listen to any advice that may be given by our contractors.
