Description

Please be advised that Third party contractors will be onsite at Salford Tunnel No. 2 on the Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal to carry out a drainage survey.

The Third party contractors will be carrying out the survey of trackside drainage from the railway bridge using a temporary pontoon. This will have minimum impact to the towpath users.

The canal is currently non-navigable, the towpath will remain open and we politely ask customers to approach the area with caution, take note of any signage and listen to any advice that may be given by the contractors.
