Description

As part of a project to repaint 7 bridges along the canal, Westcott Coatings (working on behalf of Nottingham City Council) will be cleaning and repainting Carrington Street bridge. There will be a pontoon and scaffold in the water, and sheeting set-up to prevent any debris impacting the waterway of users.

During these works, there will be times where the towpath under the bridge will need to be closed to enable the painting works to be undertaken. This closure will be subject to a separate restriction/closure notice.

Please note that pontoons and equipment will be mobilising into the water from the Towpath, working around our planned canoeing activities.

Please wait and follow the directions of the staff/contractors that will be present on-site. Slight delays may occur while works are made safe, and the pontoon is moved out of the way.
