We are pleased to advise that repairs are complete and the navigation is now open

Please be aware that repairs to Clitheroes Lock have now been scheduled to take place between Thursday 17th of June and Friday 18th of June.
During this time boats will be unable to navigate through the Lock and it will be closed. The last available passage will be between 7:30am and 10am on Wednesday the 16th of June when the Lock is manned.
Once repairs have been completed this notice will be updated.

Please be advised that Clitheroes Lock will now be manned between 7:30am and 10am, Monday to Friday, until further notice to allow boats to pass through.
Outside of these times the navigation will remain closed until more repairs are undertaken.

Please be aware a team is now on site trying to clear the paddle chamber. Until this is completed, the lock remains out of action
