Due to unforeseen issues with the pump required to drain the water from bottom end gate, we need to extend this stoppage by 5 days to enable us to complete these works. Our team will be working over the weekend and aim to have to the navigation back open by lunchtime on Wednesday 9th March. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause.

Further information: The need for an extension to this Stoppage has arisen due to additional repair work required on the cill found once the Lock had been dewatered. Again, we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
