Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal - Bridge 138, Parsons Bridge

Further to the notice below, we are pleased to advise that Parsons Bridge has been repaired and is back in operation.

Once again, we apologise for any inconvenience that this fault caused.

Further to the notice below, we are sorry to advise that an Engineer has attended site today but unfortunately has been unable to resolve the issue, therefore passage is still not possible.

Staff will be onsite on Thursday 15th April at 8.45 am to manually operate the bridge before further investigations are carried out.

Please liaise with the team on site should you need to move your boat after 08:45 am.

We will update this notice when more information becomes available.

We are pleased to advise that a team is working to replace the timber fenders through Bridge 138 Llandetty.

Unfortunately, this may cause some short delays when passing through the bridge.

The team will advise and let boats through as soon as they are safely able to do so.

We anticipate the works will be complete by the end of the week.
