Description
The canal and towpath will remain open. Contractors Woodman Brothers will be erecting scaffolding along the offside of the canal to undertake essential cladding works to the Islington Gate Buildings. These works are Phase 1 of the re-cladding works with further phases to follow later in the year.
Pontoons will be in the canal to facilitate the works. The pontoons will be on the offside of the canal causing minimal disruption to the canal network. Please follow warning signs and banksmen directions. We kindly ask customers to take extra care when passing through this area.
