On Monday 8th March, we will need to completely close the pound between Lock 18 and Lock 19 on the Grand Union Canal.
We need to lower the water, as we try to retrieve some of the wall from out of the navigation.
The stoppage should only last one day, but we will update the website if their are any delays.

Description
Works will commence on the 1st March, to repair the retaining wall under Stevens bridge.
Customers undertaking essential travel are advised that the navigation is open but that there are likely to be delays as plant is moved into position to support the works.
The works are planned to take two weeks.
