The navigation is now open. Please procced with care.

The towpath will remain closed. Inspection will be carried out to assess the landslip.

The towpath and navigation are still closed as a result of recent landslip and fallen trees.

The towpath south of Bridge 57 is completely blocked by the landslip. Information signages have been put up at the accesses North and South to Woodseaves Cutting. Our teams will attend to assess the slippage. Please bear with us when we work towards resolving the situation.

Description

A number of trees have fallen at Woodseaves Cutting and as a result, the towpath and navigation are closed between Bridge 56 and Bridge 57. Our teams are working closely with contractors to remove the obstructions.
