Please be advised works to repair the Albert Dock gate, located between Albert Dock and Salthouse Dock, Liverpool South Docks have been delayed due to a delay on shipment of the required parts.

We anticipate the repair works will now be complete by Friday 23 April, with Liverpool Link Passages commencing Saturday 24 April.

Our North West Customer Support Team will be contacting all those with a Salthouse Dock / Liverpool Canal Link Booking affected by this delay.

Description

Please be advised, an emergency closure is required at Albert Dock gate, Liverpool South Docks. During a routine operation of the gate, failure in operation of the gate occurred leaving the gate inoperable and resting on the dock bed.

Whilst plans to carry out repair works to the gate cylinders were already in our schedule, these works have now been brought forward, in addition to the recovery of the gate and the required repair works.
