Description
We have recently experienced low water levels in the pound between Lock 11 and 12 due to a badly damaged head paddle frame on the towpath side of Lock 11.
The local team have successfully undertaken a temporary repair to the frame to prevent leakage from the pound which has involved disconnecting the paddle and taking it out of operational use. The offside head paddle is still in use however to allow for navigation to continue.
A more permanent repair will be scheduled in shortly.
