The Contractors have discovered additional repair works which will cause a delay in completing the refurbishment.

Whilst the scaffold is in place Network Rail will also carry out additional works.

Contractors are refurbishing the structure on behalf of Network Rail.

The closure is required to enable safe working procedures whilst strengthening the structure.

North of the Railway Bridge is a public right of way and will be managed under the local Council procedures.

A diversion route will be put in place by the Contractor.
