We are pleased to advise navigation has resumed between Lock 1 and Bridge 6, Marsh Meadow Swing Bridge on the Rufford Branch following a repair to the offside top paddle at Lock 5, German's Lock.

Whilst navigation has resumed, please note the offside ground paddle is out of operation awaiting further repair.

More investigations are required at Lock 5, German's Lock on the Rufford Branch. The team will be reducing the water levels at Lock 5 on Monday 7 September, to establish works needed to reattach the offside top paddle.

For the safety of our customers, navigation will remain closed between Lock 1 and Bridge 6, Marsh Meadow Swing Bridge.

An update will be provided by Tuesday 8 September.
