Please be advised the operating times for the Wigan Flight have changed, you can see more about this, here.

Description

To help conserve water in the local area, please be advised of the following operating times for the Wigan Flight, Lock 65 (Top of Wigan Flight) to Lock 85 (Bottom of Wigan Flight):

• 8.30am – 10am to facilitate entry on to the flight

• 12.30pm – 2pm to allow exit off the flight

The above locks will be padlocked closed outside of these times. Roving lock keepers will be on the Wigan Flight to oversee passages and ensure the water levels are maintained. Please note, this is not an assisted passage.
