Our apologies, the works to repair the hydraulic lock gate paddle are more significant than originally anticipated.

We are working to get the lock open ahead of the weekend (15 February). Until then the navigation will remain closed.

Description

Please be advised that we have decided to close Burnt Mill Lock due to a fault with the lock gate paddle. Our Mechanical and Engineer team have been notified, and they will attempt to fix the gate as soon as they can.
