The Environment Agency have opened Torksey Flood Gates, and Boaters can now use Torksey Lock.
Please note that the water is still quite high on the River Trent, in comparison to the Fossdyke Canal, which means there may be slight restrictions of when the Lock can be operated.
Please follow advice from the Lock Keeper on site.
Description
Due to the high river level and the current high tides, the Environment Agency have closed Torksey Flood Gates. Boaters will not be able to get through Torksey Lock until further notice.
