Our M & E Team have now successfully carried out the essential repair works, and Stamp End Lock is once again operational to boaters.

Due to an unexpected mechanical failure, we have unfortunately had to temporarily close Stamp End Lock to boaters.
Our M & E Team have now been out on site and assessed the problem.
They will be back on site first thing tomorrow to carry out the essential repair works.
They will aim to have the lock open again by Wednesday afternoon.
Please do not travel through the lock, until the works have been completed.
