Update

Please be advised that the river levels have fallen sufficiently to allow safe navigation from Gloucester lock to Lindcomb Lock.

Please be aware that there is still reduced air draft on most structures across the navigation, particularly at Worcester Bridge, No 23 and extra care is needed when navigating the river at this point. Please also be aware of the possibility of floating debris.

The debris at Worcester Bridge, No 23 is scheduled to be cleared on Sunday evening 23/06/2019.

Update

Please be advised that the River Severn water levels are continuing to fall and that Diglis Lock is now open to navigation.

Please note that Worcester Bridge (No. 23) is still closed to navigation due to a build up of floating debris. This will be cleared as soon as it is safe to do so.

The River Severn from Gloucester Lock and Upper Lode is still closed to all navigation.

Please take extra care when navigating the river and be aware of the possibility of floating debris.

Please be advised that the River Severn water levels are receding and the navigation is now open from Bevere Lock to Lindcomb Lock.

Please take extra care when navigating the river and be aware of the possibility of floating debris.

The River from Gloucester Lock to Diglis Lock (including Worcester Bridge (No 23) is still closed to navigation.

Update :

Due to the increasing high level of water in the river, there is significantly reduced air draft on most structures across the navigation, particularly at Worcester Bridge, No 23 and navigation is not possible at the moment.
