Please be advised that this obstruction has now been cleared, however we advised caution when navigating this stretch of the River Severn.

Description
Please be advised that the River Severn Navigation 400 metres above Gloucester Lock is currently closed due to fallen trees blocking the width of the navigation.
Contractors have been appointed to remove these obstructions as soon as possible and we will advise as soon as the river is safe to navigate.
