Unfortunately Balfour Beatty, the contractors working on behalf of LLDC to remove the H14 bridge deck, have now confirmed they are unable to carry out this work on 13th/14th July due to the availability of the crane.
They have re-scheduled the bridge deck to be removed during a night time only closure on Saturday 27th July 2019 from 9pm, until Sunday 28th July at 6am.
Our apologies for any inconvenience this further change of dates may cause.

Balfour Beatty, the contractors working on behalf of LLDC to remove the H14 bridge deck, have now confirmed they are unable to carry out this work on 6th / 7th July due to the availability of a suitable crane.
The bridge deck will now be removed during a night time only closure on Saturday 13th July 2019 from 9pm, until Sunday 14th July at 6am.
Description
Contractors Balfour Beatty, working on behalf of LLDC, are carrying out the removal of the old “H14” bridge deck. This will take place under a night time only closure on Saturday 6th July 2019 from 9pm until Sunday 7th July at 6am.
If the lift has to be cancelled due to weather conditions, works will be postponed until 13th/14th July (night time closures).
