UPDATE: Due to the persistent rainfall over the past week in the Nottingham area, the race will now be held as a duathlon - no swimming will take place in the river. Navigation restrictions remain in place for Saturday 15th June from 15:00 – 18:00. Please follow all instructions from event organisers.

Please also be aware that a pontoon will be erected from the Victoria Embankment bank across a proportion of the River Trent from Friday 14 to Saturday 15 June. Boat passage during allocated times will need to be done with caution.

Description

The Accenture World Triathlon Mixed Relay Nottingham, featuring 18 international elite teams, will take place in Nottingham on Friday 14 June and Saturday 15 June, with competitors swimming in the River Trent between bridge 11 and bridge 12.

The navigation will be closed on Friday 14th June between 15:00 and 17:00 and on Saturday 15th June between 07:45 and 19:00.

The organisers will allow boat passage on the Saturday, between 10:45 and 11:15, between 12:55 and 13:25 and between 14:45 and 15:30.
