Due to recent extreme weather conditions and an expanded scope of works, the stoppage at Foxton is being extended by one week.
Our teams have been out in some of the most difficult weather conditions in recent weeks and their dedication has kept works largely on track. However heavy rainfall has made laying bricks a particular challenge and the high winds have affected lifting on site so an extra week is needed to allow our teams to complete the works safely.
In addition the scope of the works has extended since the original stoppage was published. An extra two sets of gates have been changed and additional brickwork repairs and improvements to paddles have also been carried out.
We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding as we recover from the recent storm disruption.
