Please be aware, for safety reasons, the towpath will be closed for the duration of the winter repair works at Locks 1 and 2.
Diversion signs are now in place on site.
Description
Carry out works as follows.
Lock 1: Reline the top gate in order to reduce leakage.
Lock 2: Replace both the top and bottom lock gates.
Please note the revised scope of works included in this stoppage.
