Additional, unexpected, repairs are required at Salterhebble Lock, including replacement of the top gate baffles and replacement of cill cappings on the top gates of the middle lock.
As a result, we require an additional three days to complete the repairs safely.
The navigation will re-open on Wednesday 5th February. We apologise for any inconvenience this change may cause.
A stoppage is required to carry out relining of the bottom gate and repairs.
