Please be advised that the balance beam on Lock 3 is broken and all craft will need assistance to travel through the flight.
Volunteers and or staff of Canal & River Trust will be on site to assist between the hours of 8am and 6pm, with the flight being padlock overnight.
It takes approximately 45 minutes to pass through the flight and you must be through the flight by the time of closure. (last boat will be at 5.15pm)
We will update this notice once we have further information is available.

Watford Locks Manned Summer opening times for 2016 have been confirmed.
21 March - 24 April 2016
Mon - Thurs, 8:00am to 5:00pm (last boat in 4:15pm)
Fri - Sun, 8:00am to 6:00pm (last boat in 5:15pm)
25 April - 18 September 2016
Mon - Thurs, 8:00am to 7:00pm (last boat in 6:15pm)
Fri - Sun, 8:00am to 7:00pm (last boat in 6:15pm)
As locks can be very busy, please allow yourself plenty of time to ensure passage
