We are pleased to advise the repair to Bridge Bridge 49, Royal Oak Swing Bridge, on the Macclesfield Canal has been successful and navigation has resumed.
Description
Please be advised navigation is currently closed at bridge 49, on the Macclesfield Canal due to a fault with the hydraulic hose that operates the bridge.
Our contractors have been informed and they will be on site today.
An update will be provided this afternoon.
