A relaxing walk along the River Trent from Newark Castle, suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.
We've partnered with The Outdoor Guide to create this scenic walk which passes by historic places of interest, Newark's dry dock and great views of the castle.
The walk begins at Newark Castle and then heads down to the river. From here, the walk meanders through the old town and along cobbled streets before joining the river once again.

“I am thrilled that The Outdoor Guide and Canal & River Trust are working together to inspire people to head out for walks along our beautiful waterways. The outdoors should be available to all.”
