The maintenance works to the hydraulic rams at Newark Town Lock have been completed a day early.
There is no longer a restriction to larger craft.

Due to unforeseen delays, the required maintenance works are now due to be completed by the end of the day on Friday 29th July.
Maintenance works are still required to the hydraulic rams at Newark Town Lock, which means there will continue to be only one working top gate.
Craft larger than 12ft will not be able to use the lock, while these works are continuing to take place.

Due to maintenance works required to the hydraulic rams at Newark Town Lock, there will only be one working top gate.
This will mean craft larger than 12ft will not be able to use the lock, while these works are taking place.
The works should be completed by the end of Wednesday 27th July, and we shall update our website accordingly.
