Please be advised that operatives and volunteers will be onsite today (Monday 18 April) to allow boats through the lock between the hours of 8am-4:30pm.
Navigation will be closed through Claydon Lock 17 (Top lock), Oxford Canal from Tuesday 19 April 07:30am until Wednesday 20 April, 16:30pm. A separate notice will be put up to this affect .
Description
Please be advised passage is restricted through Claydon Lock 17 (Top lock), Oxford Canal due to a fault with the gate.
Operatives and volunteers will be onsite to allow boats through the lock between the hours of 8am-4:30pm.
Our teams are currently working to finalise a date for the repairs, under no circumstances should any boats try to use the lock without assistance from a volunteer or member of staff between the advised hours.
This notice will be updated once further information is available.
