The duration of the works has been extended to allow additional piling to be carried out at two neighbouring properties.
Description
Please be advised third-party contractors will be onsite between Egg bridge No 119 and Davies bridge No118 on the Shropshire Union to carry out essential works to a third-party owned building.
To be able to carry out the necessary works Third party contractors will be installing sheet piles at a private property on the offside of the canal. The installation will be carried out from a work boat and workers may also be in the water as well as on the canal bank.
We politely request both towpath and canal users to approach the area with caution and be prepared to stop. Please listen to any advice that may be given by the onsite banksmen and take note of the signage onsite.
