The works have been postponed by the Environment Agency due to the current Covid-19 situation. The site has been made safe and access at the northern end of the moorings re-instated. The moorings have been re-opened.
A revised date for the works is yet to be determined.
Description
Following recent flooding the Environment Agency are carrying out Emergency Works to repair/replace a flood defence wall at Brewers Wharf in Newark.
Due to the access required, the Northern end of the moorings (approximately 2 boat lengths) and Northern pedestrian access will be closed.
Access from the South (car park end) will still be available, and the remaining area of moorings will also remain open.
