Description
Our teams are currently dealing with an ongoing pollution incident which has resulted in an oil like substance on the surface of the canal.
Isn’t an immediate threat to fish or other wildlife in the Canal. We are working with the Environment Agency to isolate the source and clean-up the excess.
There are pockets of the substance spread sporadically between Romiley and Ashton.
We understand that whilst this does look unsightly, we would ask that our customers please bear with us whilst we continue with our clean up.
