All locks are mechanically operated and manned during the operating times detailed above. All lock operations are managed by Canal & River Trust lock keepers, self-penning is not possible at this lock.
Canal & River Trust are not an emergency service but will assist any user in need of help where possible. Any vessel requiring emergency assistance should call the emergency services on 999 and ask for the coastguard.
