Bridge 12, Woodplumpton Road Bridge, Lancaster Canal

Please be advised a Principal Bridge Inspection will be taking place on third party owned Bridge 12, Woodplumpton Road Bridge on the Lancaster Canal.

Prior to the inspections, information of works signage will be erected on both approaches. During the inspections, a scaffold tower will be erected on the towpath and a floating pontoon will be placed in to the canal. A banksman will be in place asking canal and towpath users to wait whilst the pontoon is moved out of the way to allow for a safe passage. It is expected that canal and towpath users will be asked to wait no more than 30 minutes whilst the pontoon is moved out of the way.
