Farnhill Bridge damage

The bridge has now been made safe and will be fully available to boat traffic tommorrow morning (20th).

Our team will be on site this afternoon and able to allow boats passage, however there may be short delays while they clear the stone that had fallen in the canal.

Vehicle impact has damaged Farnhill bridge causing masonry to become dislodged.

For safety reasons passage under the bridge is not possible.

We are waiting for the Council Highways department to remove or make safe the bridge before the navigation can be reopened.
