Bridge 68, Buxton Road Bridge, Macclesfield Canal

3rd party contractors will be refurbishing an overhead pipe crossing alongside the bridge. The canal and towpath will be restricted due to the use of a temporary scaffold over the canal.

All boat traffic should slow down, approach the bridge with caution and be prepared to stop if requested.  Towpath users should proceed with caution and cyclists should dismount. Banksmen and warning signs will be in place.
