Rochdale Canal, Gauxholme Viaduct to Lock 24,

 Towpath Closure: between the dates of the 2nd July 2018 & 6th July 2018. General access is required along the towpath from Oak Street to accommodate the remainder of the works between the 25th June 2018 and 15th July 2018.

To facilitate the required access for undertaking the Structural Survey Works to the abutments and king piers. The towpath closure is to accommodate a tower scaffolding to access the springer at one third and two thirds the height of the abutment. This will mean a line of horizontal core holes will be drilled to investigate the possibility of a void being present.
