At Bridge 14a - Birches Head Bridge

Third Party Contractors will be in the canal, to carry out an inspection of the structure of the railway bridge and take depth readings.

All boat traffic should slow down, approach the bridge with caution and be prepared to stop if requested.  Short delays up to 15 minutes may be necessary for workers to move out of the way. Banksmen and warning signs will be in place and contractor’s staff will monitor boat and pedestrian traffic
