Description
Due to an essential repair needing to be carried out on a Canal and River Trust Work Boat, moored downstream of the lock at Lincomb a dive team will be operating on Wednesday, 20th December to remove tarpaulin which has become wrapped around the propeller of the crane barge.
A dive team will attend to cut it free and be in the water from 09:00 onwards. All river traffic going downstream from Lincomb Lock on 20th December will be unable to proceed until the works have been completed. It is hoped the matter will be resolved by noon on the 20th but the Trust will keep customers appraised of progress via this notice, twitter and vhf.
The Canal and River Trust would like to thank our customers for their patience and understanding, regarding this matter, it is hoped this matter will be resolved quickly, with minimum disruption.
