Third party contractors will still be carrying repairs to the retaining wall following the recent collapse. The towpath however is now open but restricted as the repairs continue.
Please be prepared to wait a few minutes for contractors to move out of the way.

Works to repair the Third party wall, which has partially collapsed onto the towpath, will now start on February 8th and be completed by March 2nd.
The towpath will remain closed during the works for safety reasons.
Description
The towpath is closed between Bridges 6 and 7 due to a dangerous partially collapsed wall.
Our team will need to liaise with the proprietors to arrange for the wall to be repaired.
In the meantime the towpath will remain closed for safety reasons.
