Works to replace the broken balance beam are being completed, the lock will re-open at 8am tomorrow morning (Saturday 20th May).
Please be aware whilst the lock is operable - the gate paddle will remain out of action until repair works are undertaken next week.

Unfortunately, the flight remains closed, we have a team on site at present trying to fix the balance beam.
We will provide an update in due course.

We are pleased to advise that the works to repair the balance beam will start later today and we hope to have the flight open by close of play tomorrow (Friday 19th May).
As soon as the work is complete, we will provide an update.

Due to a broken balance beam at lock 10, the flight will be closed with immediate effect.
