Downstream lock approach, Hunts Lock, Fradley

Greenford Contractors working on behalf of BPA will be undertaking work to repair the failed canal bank wall to the downstream lock approach at Hunts Lock, Fradley. To undertake the works they will require to operate small plant machinery from the towpath to install sheet piles. Throughout this operation the towpath will be restricted to provide safe passage to the general public.

The navigation will remain open although short delays may be required during certain operations throughout the works. Banksman and signage will be present to safely manage members of the public and canal traffic during the works.
