Bridge 91, Brassworks Bridge, to Bridge 92, Andre Mills Bridge, Stone.

Contractors Amey are working on behalf of Staffordshire County Council to improve The National Cycle Network 5 on the Trent & Mersey Canal around Stone.

They are investing £200k of the Councils capital programme into the works, and will be renewing the towpath surface between Bridge 90-95. The work will also include some minor bank protection works in the area.

These follow £500k of works undertaken previously from Medford to Barlaston. The overall aim is to eventually complete the section between Stone and Meaford to link Stoke to Stone.
