Linton Lock - Phase 1 works

Phase 1 works at Linton Lock will be taking place. 

These works include grouting works to the upstream offside approach wall and a small section of the lock wall to the towpath upstream.

The grouting contractor will work from a small floating platform to drill into the walls and inject a water sealing polyurethane grout. 

The lock will remain navigable.  Can skippers of all craft slow down when approaching the lock and follow any advice given on site.

Penning through the lock will be provided by the Grouting Contractor on site and slight delays may be expected.

Phase 2 works are expected to take place in September when a further notice will be issued.
